First Capital Cup goes tonight in Kingston

The Peterborough Lakers and the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks will meet in the inaugural First Capital Cup tonight at 7 pm at Kingston's K Rock Centre. It's a home game for the Kodiaks and is serving as a fundraiser for Kingston minor lacrosse. Ticket sales are reported to be going well and a big, enthusiastic crowd is expected to be on hand, including many participants in the Kingston Krossfire minor tournament that is running all weekend.

The game will be shown in Kingston and Peterborough on TVCogeco and is also available as Major Series Lacrosse's first radio webcast of the season. Scott Arnold will call the game on the Lacrosse Radio Network. The full list of radio webcasts appears in the right-hand column of this site. To listen to the game, click on the LRN logo below the radio webcast schedule.

For those in the Greater Toronto Area, you can catch some matinee MSL action at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre. The Oakville Rock play host to the Brampton Excelsiors at 2 pm.
